Hey guys, don’t forget about those SUPER CHEAP Memorial Day propane tank refills!!! Yup, get your 20 lb. BBQ sized propane tanks refilled at either the Mulvane or Clearwater Cooperatives for just $5 on either Friday 5/25/18 from 8am-5pm or on Saturday 5/26/18 from 8am-12pm. The Mulvane Coop is located at 220 W Poplar in Mulvane, KS or at the Clearwater Coop located at 9700 S 135th St W in Clearwater, KS.
Wayman Oil Co. is also doing discounted refills but for $6. However, they run their promotion from Wednesday 5/23/18 through Friday 5/25/18 from 8am-5pm. So if Wednesday or Thursday works out better for you it’s only $1 more – still an AMAZING deal! They are located at 1652 East 119th St S (just east of Mulvane, KS).
For those of you that may be near Hutchinson KS, Ramsey Oil located at 1127 W 4th St is doing $10 refills on both Thursday 5/24/18 and Friday 5/25/18. If you’re close to Maize KS, Woodard Mercantile located at 4160 N Maize Rd is also doing $10 refills this whole week from 8am-6pm, on Saturday from 8am-5pm and on Sunday from 1-5pm. While not nearly as good as the $5 or $6, it’s still WAY better than paying full price. However, these two I have not yet verified for this year so you may want to give them a call before making the drive.
All 4 locations do this around every Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. Wayman and the Mulvane Coop also do it again around Mulvane’s Old Settlers Day Festival. So if you’re local or not too far away these are likely your very best deals!
There is NO LIMIT on how many refills you can get at this prices! The only stipulation is that the bottle has to either have a manufactured or re-certified date no older than 12 years prior to the time you’re trying to get it refilled. If your tank’s date is greater than 12 years old, no worries you can get them re-certified at select locations including Wayman Oil Co. (starting in 2016) for just $5 per tank.
I try and time it perfectly every year so I can refill all 3 of my tanks at once for cheaper than it costs me to exchange just one tank at one of the big exchange stations.
